David Lau is an approved certified trainer of Human Resource Development Corporation (HRD Corp) with certificate no. TTT/4548 and is also an appointed certified trainer to conduct HRD Corp’s Train the Trainer program throughout Malaysia. Recently he was also appointed as the Lead Trainer and Assessor of HRDF in Malaysia.

Since 1989, David has held senior positions in several banking institutions for about 16 years before establishing GEM Consultancy, a consulting and training business in 2003. At GEM, he has successfully provided breakthrough solutions for various industries, such as housing development, plantation, hotels, oil and gas, universities, shipping, ports, professional businesses, etc. To date, he has successfully trained and certified approximately 1,500 trainers throughout Malaysia. Many of his participants consider him to be one of the best trainers in the industry.
